FISH-O-RAMA DELIVERS AGAIN!

Fish-O-Rama, one of the FMF’s most active fishing club sponsors, has done it again!  Using pictures that some of their members had taken, they again this year had a calendar made for the use of their group.  The difference this year?  They sold the calendars to their members and donated the net proceeds to the FMF! They quickly sold out and the money is still coming in, but the total is over $600 and still counting!  Keep a tight line boys....you are the best!

SCHOLARSHIPS AWARDED AT EASTERN SIERRA ACADEMY!
As the first official activity of the newly created Fishin' Mission Foundation, we were proud to present two $1,000 scholarships to graduating seniors from the Eastern Sierra Academy in Bridgeport.  We worked with Mr. Roger Yost, the principal of the Eastern Sierra Academy, who established the selection criteria for choosing the recipients of the scholarships.

Since school was still in session during our 35th Annual Fishin' Mission, we had the pleasure of meeting at the school with both faculty and student body to present the scholarships in person.  It was an inspiring visit to an amazing school, and it was terrific to meet these dynamic young scholars with their future ahead of them!

Mr. Roger Yost (far left), Principal of the Eastern Sierra Academy, and Gary Walker (far right), President of the Fishin' Mission Foundation, present checks to the recipients of the 2008 FMF Scholarships!
